    Columbus Day.  People don't do jack sh*t for that anymore.  It's one of those holidays that should just disappear altogether IMHO.

    Most Hindu festivals, we fast till lunch hour...we prepare sweets and other delicacies and offer to God, only then we partake of the offerings....and on festive days,...we don't eat even egg...strictly prohibited, Element;))
