  • I remember when I was around 5 or 6 years old, I was out walking somewhere with my mom and on the ground I found a tiny little set of watercolors. I picked it up and kept it and I still have it to this day. I don't think I ever tried to paint with them. It's just part of my collection of "treasures". :)

I found a shoe once. They seem to always pop up on the highway some how. ;+

They do.  It doesn't surprise me given the times one of my own kids' shoes would disappear into thin air never to be seen again.  I mean NEVER.

You MUST listen to this skit by one of my top favorite comedians ever - - Kevin Meaney! (R.I.P.)
He addresses this very issue in the five-minute skit but the entire routine just breaks me up every time! Ha!

Funny - - someone here in close proximity at the moment explained well the reasoning behind this but I once drove by a dead deer on the highway and it had a couple of large colorful helium balloons tied to its body. The balloons were flying and flapping in the air above the deer's body. The sight saddened me but this fellow A-Mugger wisely pointed out that that was a good way to draw attention to the potential driving hazard.
