Belly button piercings. E-cigarettes/vaping. "Popular" music that was released after December 31st, 1989. Unrestricted use of profanity creeping into every aspect of daily life. Why does everyone have to have a neck tattoo? Tattoos in general. Almost anything related to Trump, especially the whining. MMA. You. Drivers who tailgate. Lack of time to sit here all day and list the things that annoy me.
Oh. How did I happen to mark you so far down on the list? I should have started with you! In fact, why would I even need any other entries besides yours? Short list: thee.
(You know I'm just kidding, right? I absolutely ADORE you!)
At my age I don't understand or feel much of anything that is currently popular except maybe cute guys and all are sort of annoying compared with what was around when I was younger. And is not just all young people because I know many who are more like I was and am. The whole desire to not get along with people at all, no striving for happiness and success, no desire to improve your life, not desire to make things better for others. gang morality, "attitude", tattoos, piercings, heavy makeup, music without melody, etc.
I'm a bit "annoyed" that racism and ethno-nationalism seem to be gaining popularity in this day and age. I was naive to believe they were things of the past and relegated only the fringiest of fringes.
On the less serious side, like Randy, I am so sick of hearing about "vaping" and "e-cigs". I am glad these things weren't popular when I was in high school or college, otherwise I would've found them far more annoying.
The obsession with social media in general annoys me. I do use social media, but I'm not one of those people who needs to update his status constantly or upload an image of every meal I've ever eaten. This "everyone needs to know what I'm doing every second of the day" culture escapes me entirely.
"Gluten-free". 'Nuff said.

Probably because we have a much larger population than any other time in history so there's also a higher population of depressed people. Also, I don't think mental health was really looked into all that much before now.
