That sounds like someone's opinion and not fact.

If I am kidding and someone gives me a serious, why is that so wonderful?

A GOOD ANSWER IS A GOOD ANSWER.

If you ever get out of the habit of saying NEVER and ALWAYS it helps to answer.   Few things are that cut and dry. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at November 28, 2017 7:40 AM MST

Many times a question I ask seems light/simple/ordinary. If I get a wonderful answer (and I often do) it elevates the question to a different level. Sometimes people see things there I didn't. You and I are very different people. I delight in everything. I find wonder in everything. I appreciate everything. I'm not saying you don't. But in this case you ask "why is that so wonderful"? I hope I answered your question. Which reminds me of a question I shall ask right now.

I don't think we are very different and I do not see you as someone who finds delight in everything.

    Sorry.

We just have trouble sometimes understanding where each of us is coming from.

I mostly agree with everything you think, it is just the way we communicate online.

I know if we were in front of each other, we would get along.  It is easier to discuss things when in person.

Things get a little muddled when there are 50 egos vying for a chance to answer and the question is worded in a way that makes it impossible.

There is no ALWAYS in my answer ever.  There is no never.  The only thing that always is a given is DEATH.

We all die.  Anything else?  There is no always or never.  There is always exceptions.  That is what I meant.

    And so shall you reap.

What?  Where da f*ck did that come from?  I don't understand why I know that.
Oh, I forgot.  Rosie doesn't like me cursing on her Qs.

Yes, I like you during this discussion.  This is not personal, Glis, this is my opinion passionately pitted against yours.    I would probably not be this nuts if Bush were in office.  I hated that pr**k, but I just dismissed that whole 8 years as a nightmare that I could get over.

BUT THIS?  NO WAY.  This is what happens when you are dismissive.  NOW LOOK AT THE STATE OF THE NATION.

We reaped what we have sown?     YES.  From the time we raped this country and brought in slavery?  We have reaped.  And now we have a liar in office that hates anything that is not white, not rich and not loyal to TRUMP.

    Lucky us.

  • You're right it's not personal.  I do get you and your style.

I disliked Bush to my very core as well but after everything that has come after him I kinda miss him in some ways.

Well that is where we differ.

I long for years of Obama.

I hate anything GOP or Republican't.  They lie.  They lie.  They lie.

And I don't put many medals on the Democratic Party either, but I can get behind much more of that then anything the White House has in place at present.

If you cannot see what a menace this man is, I just have to shake my head.

  • When have I ever implied that he is anything less?

Obama wasn't much different than Bush in the most important areas.  The Dem's lie and cheat just as much as the GOP.  MHO

He was way different.  Don't even try.

He made a LOAD of mistakes.  LOAD.  I was pissed part way through.  But he was SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING GOP.

I think he left the country in great shape only to be torn down by this PIG from HELL.

  • I disagree completely.  He didn't sway from Bush ear policies and only beefed them up and added even mor mistakes.   He did a few good things but it's not greater than his mistakes.   He was Bush + identity politics IMHO.

Yes.  That is it.  He just copied George Bush.  You got it.

I'm not going into this.  Not.
