OMG! Et tu Brute? OMG! The celery over the head amuses you? Seriously? I think they stink. I think it's a gender thing though. I think only guys LOVE the stooges.  Gals are offended. Of course there are exceptions. Maybe some gals LOVE them too! I'm not one of them. Stupid does not turn me on Slapstick dumb? Not so much. But I'm also not a fan of Monty Python so what do I know?  Thank you for your reply kiddo!  :)

Yes, The Stooges do offend some folks. Not my sister.  Eye poking runs in the family.

I'm VERY suggestible bh. Just reading your words "eye poking runs in the family" made me cringe. I'm serious. Being hit over the head with a large stalk of celery may not be terribly painful but it can't be very pleasant either. I think it's really interesting though what people find funny. Don't you? I wonder what triggers it and why?  Thank you for your reply! Yep. Here comes a question about it! :)

  • Somehow, I don't see you as having a sense of humor about anything except trashing people relentlessly.

Whether it's good, bad or indifferent Zack I own it. I know what amuses me and what offends me. I'm not a fan of the Don Rickles type...insulting humor. I don't like the filthy mouth "funny" folks. Too old-fashioned.  I like clever, subtle, gentle, self-effacing humorists. A Will Rogers type for instance. Gently poking fun at the foibles of humans without any cruel or mean or sarcastic involved. I love to laugh. I can't laugh if I'm offended or insulted and feel uncomfortable.  I appreciate delicacy in humor. Refinement. Class. Of course those words mean different things to different people. I expect some folks think dumb and  slapstick is very classy. Go figger! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday!:)
