What does "good" as in "he/she is a good person" mean to you? Can one lie/cheat/betray/harm and still be a "good" person? How?

    But if we don't happen to like someone it is all too easy to look for ways of demonizing them so we look for the lying and the cheating and the betrayal and harming to justify ourselves in our feelings.  If we like someone well we don't do that.  Nobody is perfect - nobody is all "good". We all have our shortcomings, even the best of us.  And a person can mean well and be "good" in that sense but still leave a legacy of disaster.  When anyone becomes hung up on how "good" they are we call that self-righteousness.  And few people are all "bad".  Even hardened criminals can help people and do and they have people who love them and think of them as a good person.  It all becomes very personal.
