How does it make any sense to use existing laws/Constitution to protect a person who ignores them? Stupid, right?

Talk about turning the other cheek! How many times do you have to get slapped before you finally figure out that the slapper is totally nuts and needs to be put away so he will not slap another day?

      I know, right?  Equal protection under the law should be abolished, that way, as soon as someone is accused of a crime, he or she won't have to be bothered with any of the following pesky annoyances:

    rights of the accused, all of the Miranda warnings, plea bargaining, right to trial by jury, the right to face one's accuser, the right to call witnesses, mercy of the court, prisoners' rights, the right to bail or bond, appeal rights, rules of evidence, search and seizure rules, protection from cruel and unusual punishment, sentences that don't fit the crime, prosecutorial discretion, etc.
