    I know of at least once ... where the teacher abused her student, and he claimed they were "in love" and married her after he became an adult.

    And yes, wives can be raped by their husbands.  In fact, in countries where women are "second class" citizens, it is quite common.  After all, she can't say "no".

    And in countries with strict religious laws - the women may be given the choice of death, or marry their rapist.  In order to preserve the "honor" of their family.
