Is tragedy, women looking for men doing better than them replaced on those jobs by women like themselves wanting the same thing?

Why would that be a tragedy?  Are you saying that a woman looking for a man who does better would not do her job as well as one who was not looking for a man who does better?  And what would it matter if she were replaced by another with a similar goal?  Or are you saying that the one who lost her job would have less chance finding someone who did better?  Just doesn't make sense to me.
