The difference is the cost of transportation. Natural gas comes to your house through an underground pipeline that was paid off decades ago. Propane is delivered by truck. Trucks are expensive and require a driver. I have natural gas deep underground below my house that I could get for the cost of a well. Unfortunately, I can't get it legally because I don't own enough acreage. Dumb law! There are some farmers around here who have their own wells to heat their houses.
Yes, but it also have a somewhat higher energy content, all in all natural gas is a cheaper way to heat your food. (provided you heaters can use it (you may need to do a conversion).
