Why did the U.S. start the Cold War?

Some people say they didn't, but they participated. Who benefited from the war in the U.S.?

I don't think nobody really stared the Cold war - each side could see the other side had a powerful arsenal so they worked on building up their stock pile and they let the other side know about it. Canada played a  part in the Cold war too. In the 50's Russia wanted to lay claim to the High Arctic Reign but Canada said no it's ours because we have a settlement there. They really didn't  but they did have some human flag poles on the way. Canada forced/tricked  the Inuit people to migrate to the Arctic so  they could show Russia they had a settlement there - even if it was just frozen human flag polls. If you google "Canada + Inuit forced migration" or "RCMP + Inuit sled dog massacre" you will be shocked at what a Country will do to stay in a cold war. Cheers and happy weekend!
