I'd think an event would be better if you want to travel. I think a tiny house would be better if you were going to settle in a place for 6-12months and then move to another place you'd be for 6-12 months

That "tiny house" looks cool. I've never seen one of those before. :)

Now there's an oddity. How did your spellchecker do that? "RV" is nothing like "event". Lol:)

  • By "travelers" are you referring to the nomadic group that often engages in the "driveway paving scam" and other such things?

I already live in a small house, but that's all that I really need. I don't mind the lack of space, but I can't even maintain it well enough. I can't imagine having a bigger house to maintain. Even things I have fixed, are falling apart again.

At least with an extremely tiny house, you can easily build another one when the old one starts to rot, decay, and lose the battle against time and nature.

I think "tiny houses" are a solution to a not-very-relevant problem.

The main cost of housing in places where it's hyper-expensive is the land/location, not the house construction cost.

There are many places (e.g. Nevada, Florida, and other locations hit hard by the housing bubble collapse) where you can get a fairly large house fairly cheaply.

Or, you can spend $500,000 purchasing a tiny home in Downtown San Francisco.
