When hiring you RARELY have the luxury of time to train Merlin. In many cases you need someone that can hit the deck running. The learning curve exists in every business. Even the most experienced person has to learn the particular ways of doing things in that specific company. But with an experienced person the time spent educating is much shorter.  When you are training others it takes away from what you are obligated to accomplish. It is wasted time in my opinion. So the smarter/more knowledgeable the new hire is the faster you get everything back on track. Times is money. Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday!  :)
