Have you gotten any snow lately?

It snowed in Houston—-first time since 2010. Can you believe that. I checked their record and found it was 1960 when they had a significant amount of snow. They got 4.4 inches. We had a trace of snow. The whole city went nut, but they didn’t close the schools. There are kids who have never seen snow! Tell us a story about snow, if you have one.

  • Nope. Probably not going to see snow here anytime soon. There is snow up in the Sierras, though.

    If I had to gamble on it, I'd venture to say you'd find the story, at the least, intriguing. But I bet you might like it a lot! It's not very long in length.

    It snowed once here in 1947. It melted before a reporter could get a picture.


    In 1957 I had a picture of snow on the top of that mountain, but I lost it.

    BTW that mountain only looks that way from this angle. If you go to the other side, it's an easy stroll to the top.
