Yes, me too . I found Kentucky especially boring to drive around in. Everything looks the same, and it took me many hours of picking and searching to find the hotel we were staying at after I went to the convenient store.
Being a natural Blonde ,I use to drive a'round a lot trying to go to Kentucky for some KFC until I found out I still had my steering lock on.....once I managed to unlock it I managed to go Straight there.....which I might add was very convenient too as I was getting quiet Hungary by then.....:)D
OMG Yes, or how about Nevada Desert. That one was exhausting. Miles and miles between a bathroom made us stop and pee behind a cactus now and then. LOL
I love the South/North drive through Kentucky. It is gorgeous...the lushest of any state and horses and horse farms....really beautiful. I drove it many times going between Alabama and Michigan.
I drove I-65/U.S.31 straight up through Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana to near the top of the lower peninsula. It was a lovely 14-hour drive that I did many times in one day. I can drive long distances like that so easily and comfortably when I'm by myself.
