There's a book I'm reading right now. A small part of the book talks about companies that break the law by replacing humans with bots. Other parts are about how everyone is tracked and out of the ordinary behavior is taken notice of by the authorities. Mainly it's all through the eyes of a paid assassin who has Cotard's Syndrome. Spark by John Twelve Hawks.
It's called "Spark" and is by John Twelve Hawks. I'm on my third reading in two years. The story is first person perspective. Jacob Underwood is the main character. I love him. I love being in his cool, delicious mind that is devoid of emotion.
