It's OK, Welby. This wasn't really a serious question to begin with, it was another question I cobbled up by merging two existing questions on the home page - only this time the result was a sensible question in its own right. Lol:)

I'm sure there are hundreds of movies with New York in the titles, or names of districts in New York. It's such a massive place and a popular location for movies it's inevitable. Lol:)

Thanks for the reply ,Andy B -- I appreciate it!

Yeah, now that you mentioned it, I can remember probably the two questions you merged.

    :)

Now that I've been thinking about this still for a while, I think Snake lands a plane on one of the World Trade Centers? Or takes off from it? Anyway, I'm pretty sure the scene had to have involved the Trade Centers.

    "Duh" on me,

    :)

I accepted titles with Brooklyn, Manhattan and other parts of New York. Since this wasn't really a serious question I thought there was no need to be that pernickety. Lol:)

One was "Can you name a movie with a number in the title?" (which you and I both answered). The other one was "Why do people go to New York?". They were both on the home page at the same time so I made this one up from those two. But this time it didn't come out as a silly question like most of my other mockeries do. Lol:)

Hmm, I know I didn't pick any of them because I read your question, which was why I didn't have any of them in my final choice. Call me persnickety, but if people have a busy time telling a reply already was mentioned, then let's be persnickety. I do not make a remark about before although seeing it right away. Hmm.

I don't think you are the persnickety one, SH. After all, it wasn't you who reminded Thriftymaid that her answer had already been posted, was it? Lol:)

  • Yup!

It's kinda sad to see that.  I watched the 1976 version of King Kong (awful movie!).  Kong climbs the TC buildings.  It's kinda sad now...

Nah, it wasn't really.. I did notice, and did also notice how others became afraid when they realised they answered something that already was taken. It will be a sad place if that's a tendency we see carried out, people afraid making a double entry on an entertaining question.

I try not to post a duplicate answer if I can possibly help it, but sometimes I'll post the answer I thought of and then after I've posted it I'll suddenly notice that someone else posted it as well. It happens, but I'm not one to make a big issue out of it myself. I'm usually thankful for the presence of entertaining questions on sites like this, it provides a refreshing change from the usual political drivel, doesn't it? Lol:)
