    I'm a bopper and shagger (not the English definitions)  and love the 60s and 70s beach music.  Just in case, that's groups like The Four Tops, the Drifters,  and the Tams.  I grew up spending time at the beach dancing to these groups in outdoor spaces right on the Gulf. I'm still here on the Gulf but not dancing like I did those many years ago.

    It's called the Carolina Shag and done all up and down the East and Gulf coasts.  Grand fun!!!

    This video is competitive dance but you can see that it's a couple dance that is all footwork.  We teach the kids early.  :)
