You know I'm a cat person PC but I'd be more than happy to make an exception for your adorable Lacy. She is seriously awesomely supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Ma you have the privilege/pleasure of enjoying her for many years to come. I think you know we lost ou cat Tigger to cat leukemia 5 months ago. We miss him terribly. He was with us for 12 years...a stray who adopted us. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday m'dear! :)
Rosie, I know how hard it is to lose a pet. My heart is broken every time it happens. I know you can never replace an animal, but sometimes getting another pet heals that little hole in your heart
I think that's very true PC but I'm 80 and Jim is 82 and we worry about what would happen to a pet if we were no longer here. I mean we plan to live to our triple-digits but there are no guarantees. It breaks our hearts see the ads on TV about abused/abandoned animals. In one the last frame is of a dog shivering/shaking with very sad eyes. It is hauntingly sad. Thank you for your reply m'dear! :)
Sadly we lost our beloved cat Tigger 5 months ago. He explored everywhere all the time. He had dozens of "favorite" spots. Thank you for your reply Malizz and Happy Tuesday! :)
My cat, Souris, changes her favourite place every three days. She chooses cosy nooks or me as a mattress in cool weather and high, breezy open spots or the cool, bathroom floor when it's hot. If it's Goldilocks weather she'll put herself close by where Ari or I work - not sure if her motive is companionship, curiosity or supervision.
Sounds as if she just likes to be near you. She can keep an eye on you and Ari and she probably feels safe being close by. Cats are very independent as I don't have to tell you. So when they cuddle up and curl up and show affection it's quite special. We lost our sweet cat Tigger on July 25. Had to be put down because all his organs were shutting down. Bless all pets. Bless all pet owners who give them a loving hom! Thank you for your reply Hartfire. I'm gonna ask a question about this. :)
We had Tigger by far the longest of any other pet so of course we grew very attached. Thank you m'dear. It is a loss we will never fully get used to. We still look for him everywhere he used to hang out inside the house and in the backyard PeaPod. SIGH. :(

Each one of my pets seem to have a "spot" they love the most.
Lily is almost always by my feet on the love seat. Sometimes she even gets up on my keyboard. She is a cuddler.
