Rosie, congratulations on getting your own space. Now, presumably, the people that come to your corner will be ones who want to respond to some of your questions and not berate you for having such an active mind. I couldn't think of 1/4 the questions you do. Go get 'em!
Thank you Spunky. Why it happened is that I was a huge headache to the folks who had to classify/reclassify my questions. Just Asking contacted me and gave me some examples of questions that could go in a zillion (slight exaggeration) different categories and she even showed me one question I asked that could have been in TEN categories! I had no idea I was causing any problem. She came up with this solution which if you think about it is BRILLIANT! So I'm a category which is really POTPOURRI or SMORGASBORD. You will find a little bit of many things there and just pick and choose what to taste. As for the nasty folks? I deleted them and ignored them and still will if they track me here. Imagine my amusement at being told I was the subject of much hatred just because I ask questions! It takes all kinds I guess. Anyway I appreciate the congrats although I'm here because I was headache for the reclassifiers..not because I deserve any special attention.
For whatever reason you have your own corner, you deserve it. This way, if people don't want to see your questions on the main page, they don't have to although I'm not sure why it is/was so difficult to just scroll down. Should make it more pleasant for everyone now that we don't have to listen to them whine. Happy Wednesday. :)

I'm actually impressed with her vast knowledge of the political scene. I'd much rather see those questions than the vast non-sensical questions that litter the site. But then again, I have the ability to scroll past those and move on to something else.
I feel the same way about the inane questions, too. Don't like it? Scroll past and find something you do like. But this site, like another one I'm on, has to have it's complainers. You have to expect that on an opinion site. What I don't care for are the nasty jabs and outright unpleasant comments made towards another member here. Just plain unnecessarily mean.
No one should be singled out for personal attacks, especially if they are not doing anything to be malicious themselves. This site is very lucky to have someone so active and committed, even when others tried to intimidate. A lot of sites wither away when members lose interest.
EXACTAMUNDO! I have never had a problem ignoring people with whom I didn't want to engage. I NEVER seek them out. If they show up I just delete the email notices and ignore them. That way they can say whatever floats their boat and I don't know about. The whole thing is really absurd. Who would believe that an old dame like me who asks questions that occur to her could become so important to folks that they devoted time to talking about her? Go figger! It takes all kinds and they are definitely a different kind than thee and me! Thank you for your sweet response Spunky. Wonder what doofus don is doing currently? AARRGGH. It can't be good. I think the confusion is coming in because people mean different things when they say the "main page." The homepage aka the one when you go to when you arrive on the site, when you click our logo, and when you click home, is unchanged. The question list, which you get to by clicking "Questions" on the menu, is different.
The main page, as in home page, remains unchanged. Everyone's questions and replies is posted there, including all of Rosie's activity. You must be on the question page, you are not on the home page.
If you insist on quoting a source, at least make it one that is reliable. Pelosi is delusional and her reckless remarks smack of emotional instability. This is NOT life and death, nor is it Armageddon. I hope to live long enough to see her brought down a few notches. I may not see it since only the good die young. Also, with her record of passing legislation without reading it, how could she possibly know what's in it??
