    If you were in Phoenix, I would come get you, Pearl.  You are always welcome here.  I think any one of us that you talk to would feel the same.

    Maybe soon, we can all see each other better by camera on screen and we can be with each other whenever we wish to.

    I don't, and have not for many years, go to NY parties.  I always hid in the bathroom at midnight to avoid drunken strangers trying to kiss me.  Hated it! 

    I will be at home and will enjoy the many fireworks right from my balcony.  People here love doing fireworks.  We could drive a mile or so and watch them at the harbor but I'm fine staying at home.  I never am in bed before midnight.  New Years day will be football noon until midnight, black-eyed peas, cornbread, and ham.  :)
