There is real freedom when you stand alone..  The more people you wed yourself to the more the pressure is upon you to compromise your beliefs and say or do things your conscience is not ok with...

I enjoy solitude pearl. I require it. But to be alone the rest of my life by choice? No.  That would not be my choice although if it occurred I would deal with it and get through it because I am very good at adjusting to my circumstances. But it would not be by choice. It would be out of necessity. Thank you for your reply! :)

So the idea of being alone when you die does not bother you? Being surrounded by family/friends who love you as you fade from life would be something you would not want? Different strokes Adam. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday. I believe in doing for myself what I can do. I also believe in letting others help me through tough times as I would like to be able to help them through theirs. I require solitude. I am not a people person. But dying alone in a room is not something I would like to experience or to which I would look forward:)
