Do you reconcile your bank statement or just accept the bank version? If you order something and get something else do you say nothing?

How much of a pushover are you? How docile, incurious and disengaged? If you see that something is definitely weird/odd/bizarre/out of whack do you just accept it without question or go after it and find out what's going on? Why aren't all Americans investigating donjohn and his extravagant appointees and all the infractions of all the protocol and rules that have lasted for centuries?  Why don't the people but heat to the pols' feet  and ask more of them than what they're getting which is mostly shafted? Why are the people so satisfied and even joyful with being treated like imbeciles? I don't get it.

Well you have asked several questions here.
No I don't reconcile bank statements.
If I don't receive what I have ordered I notify them of that fact and return what they have sent me.
Probably too much of a "pushover" where men are concerned.
Would say I am docile but certainly not disengaged. Curious about some things but not a lot of things.
Almost everything that goes on these is to me  "weird" or "bizarre" compared to what I grew up with but many people don't think the same as they used to.
I have no desire to investigate Pres. Trump.  If he is pres. he can do what he wants while he is in. Some of it I may not agree with but mostly it is wonderful to have a real person in there who has really done and accomplished something in real life other than just getting votes.  He respects personal freedom and personal initiative as well as personal responsibility and religion and does not demonize sacrifice and success.  Which are all things I grew up with.
OK we feel supported rather than "shafted".
I feel respected rather than treated like an "imbecile".
No one is perfect but it is good having someone in there finally who thinks more the way we do and doesn't threaten us or seek to "re-educate" us.

That's why Just Asking gave me my own category og. No one knew where to put my questions. Thank you for a thoughtful reply to my question. Different strokes. Where you see good I see evil. So what, right? In fact the next question I ask is kinda gonna deal with that. I don't get why folks think donjohn has done anything for them unless they are obscenely wealthy. I shall NOT ask if you are since it's none of my dam* business.

    Interesting question as always...
I dont do anything with my bank account other than check it now and then and groan in horror at how little there is in it :( Generally speaking I think it's accurate and I can see online what transactions have been made.. if there's something wrong it's usually not the bank but some company or other taking money they shouldn't. I deal with that.

I complain when necessary but don't enjoy complaining..

I am probably very far from a pushover but accept that there is something about me, probably my niceness and my willingness to give chances and go that extra mile to help people - that means people often try to take advantage...  Either way I accept people do seem to see me as a pushover.. unfortunately for them I am not :P

Well m'dear I'm a retired Internal Auditor so you know I don't take anyone's word for anything when it comes to finances.  Or pretty much anything else either! I have caught errors on the bank end...mostly minor but a few were major over the years. When Jim and I first met he had NEVER reconciled a bank statement! After I recovered from shock I showed him how to do it. Once he learned how I took over. It's something I enjoy and am good at and for him it's an unwanted chore. I think it's always good to share responsibilities based solely on what your aptitudes are, not by gender.  Fingers crossed your bank never makes a mistake Addb. You are way too trusting. Not that they are going to try to put something over on you but banks are run by human beings none of whom are perfect. Thank you for your reply! :)

    Check daily.

If it's not what I ordered, it goes back. A women's size 10 shoe is no use to me, male size 9 even if packaging labelled as latter. I'd already sent one pair back  having ordered the wrong size.
