Texas'campus concealed carry law allows anyone 21 or older with a Texas handgun license to carry a concealed weapon on campus.
There are guidelines, of course.
What do you think about guns on campus?
I think many of us were/are guilty of buying the into a false image of Texas, in particular, but of other cities, states, countries and regions as well.
That is interesting. Still, someone has to own and maintain the infrastructure, is that government or one of the utility companies?
Third party companies are responsible for maintenance, I pay an extra 4 cents per kwh for third party maintenance. Many of the newer providers have expanded from other regions of the state. There is also a provider managed by the university.
Co-ops may also buy energy blocks for an area and become providers themselves. The only requirement for opening the energy sector up to the private sector was that they maintain a certain percentage of renewable energy. There are also incentives for those willing to host such sources on their land etc.
I pay a flat fee of 12cents per kwh, but there are various other plans to choose from even at my provider. My provider is one of about 5 in my local area.
