Yes. Unquestionably so. In our obsessive quest to abandon our once staid moral center and work ethic, we've completely lost focus on what is truly valuable in life. Part of that loss is American exceptionalism--that part of our culture which beat back Nazi aggression, made slavery a universal anathema, sent men to the moon and built the single most powerful military and economic behemoth the world had ever seen.
Now, we spend a significant chunk of our days with our faces permanently affixed to a little screen. We spend the remainder in petty disputes over whether this brand of socialist infection is better than that brand of socialist infection.
God needn't swoop down in a fit of rage and obliterate what once WAS America, we're busily doing that ourselves!
