A man who has sung a way into my heart in more ways than three :) Big giggles. If I could remember how to post a video, I would:) It's always great to see and hear from you Beans :) :)
A streaking cat you have, mind you... Well, you bring a whole new aspect to the thought of running frantically around the house for no apparent reason. I streak around our house all the time but I do have reason. I can't find my toys.
Cats are free entertainment. They probably feel the same about us!
When they choose correctly, humans and cats are the perfect catch ;) ;)
I think you would love one pearl! May I suggest fish. Knowing you as I do, I think your personality would do wonders for a fish. They will need your help. They need someone who can watch over them and take care of their homes. They need a lot of attention. You might be surprised as to how much you can really become attached. Check out starting with a 10 gallon tank and all the amenities it needs. Then maybe look into some fresh water fish with short fins, like neons, or zebras. You can have a beautiful Beta in there too. JUST ONE though. They need plants, gravel, and you could buy some cool rocks or funny little things to put in your tank. It's like building your own resort and buying a condo for your Beta and his buddies. It is a whole world or wonderment and fun. I think it would be great for you and for all the fishes you could help. Go For It! I truly applaud you for thinking of getting a pet.

Possibly better to ease into the concept. How about a one plant terrarium to start with---much easier to take with her if she moves to a new state for a "nanny" type job as she indicated she might do.
Even a 10 gallon tank for fish is going to weight 80+ pounds.
Yes, and that first fundamental mode of vibration of the water when you move a fish tank (or a large pan of turkey drippings that are going to be used to make gravy) is really easy to excite---and it can really cause a mess.
This *parrot holds no candle to yours. He knows yours is the ruler of the roost!! But, he might like to be adopted!! Ahhhhhhh ! I promise, his name is not Polly!! Dancing is something Beethoven brings out in the best of us.
*when I wrote this question, I added feathered for you! I knew you and your feathered friend had many happy years and thought you might like to share. LOL (Parrot for lots of love) ;) ;)
