Can you have a pet where you live that is not in a cage or a fish bowl?

    Yes, our co-op allows pets, but there are certain breeds of dogs that aren't permitted - Rotweillers, pitbulls, Dobermans.  We encourage mostly smaller breeds and cats are allowed so long as you don't have more than two.

  • I see the attack type dogs are out and we always hear owners say, they wouldn't hurt anybody. Good they have some as they are a comfort to a lot of people.  Thanks.

    It's difficult to keep a large dog in a City apartment and there's always the factor that they might hurt someone.  We have a lot of small kids in the development, so some breeds can't be trusted too much around them.  Yes, pets - especially dogs - do add a lot to one's life.

    Yes, I own my own home (not in a subdivision) on an acre lot. So I can pretty much do what I want.
