No, I won't drive one. There have been a bunch of accidents related to parking. I also don't like the idea of a programmer potentially making ethical decisions on my behalf.
Forty-thousand people died in fatal accidents in the US in 2016. Clearly human intelligence is not enough to manage an automobile. Artificial intelligence is definitely worth giving it a try. There will still be accidents but probably due to a different array of causes. If fatalities go down, it will have been worth it.
Not yet. There have bee too many accidents with the prototypes. https://www.theverge.com/2018/1/10/16875066/argo-ai-self-driving-car-crash-pittsburgh-ford
No, they're already here. Last year the first self-driving truck picked up a load in Fort Collins CO and delivered it to Colorado Springs CO.

You are correct, when I looked for "self driving trucks" I found plenty. https://www.wired.com/story/embark-self-driving-truck-deliveries/

Shouldn't they still have someone in the cab to supervise the computer in case it freaks out? It sounds like a disaster waiting to happen if they don't have someone in there. Kind of like with planes, you still need a pilot even with autopilot.
Not for me, it would require a blind faith in technology I just don't have. I know how computers are.. But I think it would be nice to have that option for old or disabled people, and alcoholics too. That way I can drive my own car more safely and they can have a better option for themselves. It's a win/win. Yay!
