According to oddsmakers at PADDY POWER the donjohn's chances of surviving in office 4 years aren't so hot. Happy or not?

Paddy Power was founded in 1988 in Dublin, Ireland and it combined with another online betting operation "Betfair" in 2016. As of January 2018 per Paddy Power it's nearly TWICE as likely that Trump will be impeached as it is that he will serve out 4 years. If you were a betting man/woman would you take that bet? Or not? Why?

Yes, I think we should all pay attention to an Irish gambling operation. Probably better than the fake media.

You're not a bigot are ya?   I mean the Irish gave us an appreciation for the color green and pots of gold and leprechauns fer goodness sakes! They gave us Irish lads and lasses. "When Irish Eyes are Smiling". We got "Finian's Rainbow" and Green Eggs and Ham and "The luck o' the Irish" and Maureen O'Hara, Barry Fitzgerald  Irish Tenors, Corned Beef and Cabbage, 4- leaf clovers and Brigadoon..the little place that came alive each 100 years for 1 day.. Thank you for your reply  bh. I note a tiny hint of sarcasm in your reply but I'm sure t'is NOT cummin  from you.  Begosh and begorra how are things in Glockamora?  I'm sure a lad like you would not make fun of an entire land that is pure magic wouldja now?  The Little People wouldn't be too happy with ye. Thank you for your reply bh. . This post was edited by RosieG at January 16, 2018 2:51 AM MST

An Ulsterman from Northern Ireland is a famous ancestor of mine. His name was T. Wolfe Tone. He led many shiploads of Napoleon Bonapart's soldiers in a raid of Ireland in order to expel the English. It did not go well. Poor Wolfe committed suicide in prison as he waited to be hung. Today, there is a musical band called 'The Wolfe Tones'.

I have a lot of Googling to do thanks to you bh. Your reply brings to mind that famous author Thomas Wolfe who said "you can't go home again" among other things. Napoleon Bonapart's soldiers? How in the heck did Napoleon get involved with the Irish I wonder?  Retroactive condolences on the loss of your ancestor so long ago. T'was an ignominious end to the life of a brave man. The Wolfe Tones? If I Google that  will there be a  point to it? I'll find out for meself . My maiden name, though Armenian, started with an O. So on St. Paddy's day every year I wrote it O' and it looked Irish! Do you believe in Leprechauns? I kinda think I do! :) I know a little bit about THEOBALD WOLFE TONE. He waa a real hero. He died at the age of 35. He lived from 1763-1798. Also The Wolfe Tones are in fact an Irish rebel band. I Googled as I said I would. Happy Wednesday bh.
