It cannot easily be controlled. It affects males 3-4 times as often as it does females. You might repeatedly blink your eyes, shrug your shoulders or BLURT OUT unusual sounds or OFFENSIVE WORDS. There is no cure but treatment is available. Someone with Tourette's is not in control. If you are not in control then you are not to blame. Right? The disease controls you. Why would anyone attack a person who is not responsible for what comes out of his/her mouth? The disease is the culprit. The person who has the disease is merely the vehicle and is being driven by it, not driving it.
Go ahead, Rosie. You KNOW you're busting a gut to say it. :-D
Excuse me? IF she's implying...? :-D
I can't get anything past you Nim. OK. Here goes. I'm thinking that part of Trump's mental illness could be a touch of Tourette's. Now I know nothing about the condition but maybe some folks have a mild case and others don't. That would account for all the outbursts of odd/insulting/outrageous things that come out of Trump's mouth. They are not planned or thoughtful they just appear randomly out of nowhere. Some have nothing at all to do with the subject matter. Trump gets distracted easily and doesn't seem to be able to focus on any one thing for very long. Of course other people also can get distracted easily and lack focus but none of them are candidates for the presidency. It do make a difference. Thank you for your permission . I guess among other things you're also a mind

reader. I don't mind. I have nothing to hide! :)
