As I begin to make my travel plans for the coming summer season, are there any countries that ban tildes?

(I neither want nor need the stress of being falsely accused of starting yet another international incident.)

There is no present tilde ban in any country. However, many countries, particularly in the Middle East, do not look favorably on tildes. For this reason, the US government asks that tilde-carriers use extreme caution when traveling to these areas or delay their travel plans until the tilde lifestyle gains greater acceptance.

Knowing you as I do, and wanting you to have a great vacation,  I am going to advise steering clear of all written communication, entirely, in any given country.   Seaside resorts may pose a problem as well.   Try not to go into any mathematical institutes either.  The reasons being,  some may get the tides and tildes confused.  When written, they look like the movement of a tide and when used in math they can mean negativity.

Other than that, I can think you're smooth sailing.  :)  Come to think of it,, the Spanish written language seems to like them.  Why not go there and enjoy the sun?!  Have Fun!! :) :)
