No - I'm not going to watch or listen because Trump has nothing to say that I want to hear. He will use this time to pat himself on the back and tout his "genius" and I have better things to do than waste my time on this.
Me too neither. It will be all self-aggrandizing bullsh**. I mute him every time I hear his voice. I cannot stand listening to any more of his "how great I am" crap. I sure as he** won't turn it on to what will be a complete waste of time. SIGH. Remember the good old days when we the people would look forward to things like that? Honestly, the only president whose State of the Union speeches I watched from beginning to end were Bill Clinton's. He was a charismatic speaker. Happy Monday. :)
He was/is/always will be. For me it was JFK and also Obama. Clinton was always a people person. The thing in the White House now is an unspeakable badness masquerading as a human being. Thank you for your reply Spunky! :)
That's a good and completely valid point that it's just about the ego of the sitting president, but to be fair, I've never seen any State of the Union Address that wasn't about the ego of the sitting president. --
Don't you think we ought to see if the Democrats reopen the building by the 30th? If we're up and running, then I'm watching. It's something I've never done before, nor had the desire to do.(Nor cared until now). Oh, by the way, I don't know about everybody else's ego, but my confidence is at an all time high.
