Whom does it serve besides phonies/fakes/bums? SIGH. Think it will ever be  fixed? I can't see the point of having the Minority control an outcome. Majority voted for Hillary by about 3 million. So how does it make sense that the LOSER, second-place finisher, wins? Thank you for your reply and the graphic Sharon and Happy Tuesday.

Anything is possible m2c. You did not outvote us. You are in the m inority. The loser won. The second-place finisher won. How is that possible? The dumba** electoral college. Now what is being project is a BLUE WAVE in the Novemer 2018 mid-term elections. It could be aTSUNAMI. Is it possible that you Republicans will repvail? Anything is possible. All I have is look at the despicable creature you elected prez.  I would have thought THAT was impossible. I would have been wrong. Thank you for your reply.

Popular vote means nothing. It is about winning the most states across the country.
If you want the popular vote to count, then the congress needs to go back to the Constitution and distribute representives by the population.  They voted to cap the house members where it is at so that puts a limit on the number electoral votes. But under the Constitution that number would be growing.

Guess I'll have to protect my family and home if you set it on fire.

Are you serious? You do understand that my question is not literal, it is figurative, don't you?  There are no matches or  gasoline. There is no intention of ACTUALLY setting anything on fire physically and destroying it. So are you answering metaphorically/figuratively or literally? It's hard to tell. Thank you for your reply og. But its frightening to me to hear you, as well as others, express such a degree of hatred.  I never hated candidates you supported, in fact doubt I am capable of that much hate - was not how I was brought up.

  • Isn't it remarkable how a whole segment of society can lay rationale, reason , good sense and judgement aside and take on the traits of the howling mob? It is a frightening set of circumstances, but you're dealing with people that cannot be talked to like most.

Nothing. The right doesn't need to put out all the fire. It just needs to win elections. Beyond that what the left thinks is irrelevant.

The screams of anguish from the far left are actually a good thing. It energises the right. The flak is how we know we're over the target. If you'd played it a little cooler, you might not have lost. Part of the political genius of Trump is that he brings out the enemy's true face. Anyone with one bit of discernment can see how fallen and ugly that face is. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at January 22, 2018 4:50 PM MST
