    Well...There are some here who probably shouldn't be allowed near sharp objects. I use a diamond dust steel.

    What a refreshingly ordinary question... are you sure this isn't a trick question.. you know what you are like!  I've got around 3 sharpeners in my drawer... I used to work in a kitchen chopping zillions of veg and fruit.. sharp is important ...

    A stone (if needed), then a stainless rod, then a leather strap.  It's not sharp until I can shave with it.
