    No, not since the day I got married.  Prior to that, I had had a monthly allotment deducted from my paycheck that went to my mother.  She was the one who put a stop to it; she said that a married man should have no divided loyalties between two or more women, that there should only one woman in his life, and his mother isn't that woman.
