I had two students, David and Daniel Martinez who were very worried their family would be deported. I hope they fared well.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It's a US immigration-related program for people whose parents entered the country with their children when the children were minors.

Thank you.  We know some immigrants  who have become citizens but not sure if their children are enrolled in that program.

    They don't need to be.

No, but I know plenty of immigrants. Some are my friends. They have dual citizenships. A lady I hire, once in a while to do spring cleaning, is also here on a green card. So I feel connected to immigrants.  One of my friends has children that have friends in school from different parts of the world. When I go to the grocery store, I hear people speaking in many foreign languages. So I have much compassion for DACA’s  plight.
