That an African American would be elected president was inevitable. I felt reasonably certain that would occur in my lifetime. There's no shock and awe from this writer on any scale of measurement. I had anticipated it. Now, let's examine the other portion of the question. With womanizing, do we measure shock and awe by previous administrations, or do we pretend that has never been part of the Oval Office scene? There was Grover Cleveland's illegitimate child, Warren Harding's extramarital affairs and illegitimate child, John Kennedy's numerous flings, one of which was Marilyn Monroe, another Judith Exner. Let's not leave out Slick Willie's little adventures. I'm not even going to dignify the charge of racism. The way that's now defined, is as follows: Anyone who wins an argument with a Liberal, or dares to disagree with one is in fact, a racist.
