If you drink and drive or text and drive and are caught I think you should lose your driver's license FOREVER. What do you think?

Since it is completely avoidable and a willful act it is preventable. Those who do it anyway cannot be trusted. They do it once they will continue to do it. Why have anyone who is that obtuse and selfish get behind the wheel and drive? They will eventually cause great harm. Why not cut them off immediately from that possibility?

    That's if you're lucky enough to be caught. The hard way is to be involved in a fatal accident.

    Touche. True enough. If you are weaving and swerving through traffic and are stopped and tested and found to be drunk that's the easy way and the best way for everyone, especially for those whom you might kill futurely.     They should have a breathalyzer installed in the car.
    For texting, maybe something that kills cell phone signal.
