Imagine a planet of 'nation state' 'petri dishes' where individuals and groups can experiment with political and economic systems which work best for them? Now imagine each 'dish' agreeing to mind its own business while allowing individuals to move from dish to dish in search of a better life. Is this a bad thing, and if so why?
It sounds as nice as a world where everyone really obeyed Jesus' admonitions to love thy neighbor as theyself and do the most we can for the lowest SES among us.
And it's just as unrealistic.
