Or those who didn't physically molest but supported those who did when they covered up the crimes of the others? Phonies. All of them. Instruments of Satan. Blasphemous evildoers. I never heard of atheism being blamed for sexual perversion or that perverted activities caused anyone to become atheist. Atheists are normal persons who just do not believe in God or gods or any supernatural elements.
Me neither. They are (many of them) are very conscious of their integrity. That is how they became atheists in the first place, through logic and proportion and all that stuff you need to be super accurate about. And they, are very accurate people. So, they go out of their way to prove that they have conscious choices regarding their behavior, no matter how limited their time may be. I find that awesome. I cannot imagine the terror my mind would endure if I had to walk that walk again.
I think atheists are the bravest souls and I honor them.
Is that Randy D up to his old trick again.......if he'd have said I could have helped him dress a bit better for his coming out party....... On the plus side ....there will be more room in the closet now......
I'm not blaming Atheism for anything Kg. In my opinion all sexual perverts are servants of Satan and evil beyond belief. They represent the ugly the evil the two-faced none of which is remotely connected to faith. Whether they wear the robes of the clergy or are "devout" churchgoers and can quote every word in the bible they are liars and phonies and serving evil. The question is not a criticism of those who don't believe in that which is beyond comprehension. It is a question aimed at those who pretend they are true believers while their sexual perversions harm others. Sorry I didn't make myself clear. I have people I love dearly who are Atheists. I have no problem with them. I do have a problem with liars and fakes and phonies who represent themselves as better than everyone else because of their strong belief in God WHILE they hurt/harm/damage other people privately and destroy lives. You need to ask the Pope this question.......The Vatican's been protecting peadophiles priests for countless centuries...... They flatly refuse to hands over to the police any pervert of files held on them...... You can't tell me that the police in Italy don't know about every pervert and refuse to arrest anyone.....
The whole place should be closed down to protect venerable children globally ...
Here's my take on it D. They are liars and phonies and fakes and servants of Satan. They pretend faith but they actualize the worst in humans. I'm not blaming or pointing a finger at Atheists in any way. I am pointing fingers are the "religious" folks who either are vile perps themselves or cover up for the vile perps in our society. How they dare go to Church and recite Bible verses and counsel people when they are the scum of the earth is beyond me. Sigh. I wish to he** it were otherwise but it isn't. The only way they can operate is to compartmentalize. I think Ted Bundy as a serial killer had it down pat. He would be charming as long as he could be human, and then the hunger would erupt, and he had to go out and hunt and kill.
Same with sex perverts. They lie and tell themselves all kinds of stories to keep themselves going; but the truth is they focus on feeding on the lives of small kids. I have heard they have groups that define each other as lovers of children. Anything to flaunt their sick fantasies.
I can see how the Christians developed a belief in Satan as some entity that forces them to do something. The Devil is not a separate entity. The devil is desire unbridled. The ego. The ego is not a bad thing, it is only bad when it becomes evil and in control of a deranged mind.
These people have no sense of concern for anything but their own pleasure. The kids are hardly lovers. They are victims. The only love in the room is the pervert's self-love as he is torturing a weak innocent for his pleasure.
Hideous. But not some boogey man. That boogey man is a real flesh and bone creep that may just be your neighbor, a grade school janitor, a teacher, priest, doctor or FATHER or MOTHER.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to have any true and honest religious faith/belief in a higher power and brutalize other human beings as they do. They are the worst scum in the world and they aren't fooling anyone. They probably sit in church singing hymns while they are fantasizing sexually perverted attacks and then in their "spare" time make them reality. They are the pus in the zits of humanity. Well you often throw around the word "pervert" quite often in your posts. What does it mean to you? Besides describing people you don't like? How would you define what a "pervert" is?
Certainly both atheists and people of faith have been guilty of, for instance, "sexual misconduct". Which is really quite a broad term and can take in a myriad of actions and attitudes.
