If you don't like people and they don't like you back is that called mutually exclusive warfare?

    No. It’s only mutual dislike.

    There is a great distance between dislike and warfare.
    As a combat vet, I smh whenever I see small minds trivialize the evil of war.

  • I don't think so.
    It would be a very unusual person who could like everyone.
    Most of us learn ways to get along with people we don't like when we must.
    Sometimes, we get surprised and the relationship changes.

    For instance, at boarding school, there was a girl, Tania Collis, who used to lead the bullies against me.
    I either avoided or ignored both her and her cronies.
    But when my father died, the housemistress gave me a massive dose of aspirin and sugar in tea and sent me to bed.
    When I woke up 12 hours later, there was Tania, holding my hand.
    "My father died too. I know how it feels."
    It was amazing. In a micro-flash, I forgave her every jibe and every practical joke.
    And she never tried to bully me again.
