Turn a phrase. Turn a blind eye. Turn of the Screw. Turn a profit. Turn your ankle. Turn the room upside down. Turn against. Infinite turns?

Turn up. Turn over. Turn under. Turn back. Turn down. Turn into. Turn on. Turn off. Turn out. Turn the tables. Turn the tide. Wait for your turn. Do a good turn. Has the milk turned? The list of uses seems infinite. Was there ever such a useful word as turn? The chameleon of words? If so which, why and where can it be used?

    I liked the Seekers a lot and I first heard that song when the Byrds came up with the Popular version.
