    Not really although now that my mom has passed away, I find I am the matriarch of our family. :)

    My dad died in 1960 at the age of 54 Spunky. When my mom died (she was in her mid-90's) I realized I was an orphan! Silly billy me but it kinda shook me. I was no longer anyone's child! I was in my late 60's. Funny how we react to things like that. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)

    Cute D! Ever had homemade PEACH ice cream? I had it once decades ago and I still remember the bliss!  Also peach cobbler and peach jam and peachy keen people. Peach is good. Nectarine, pineapple, mango and papaya also good! :)

    I like sour fruits Rosie. .....   Rhubarb ,underripe Goosberries and kiwis  ,so I'm a little Tart at heart....  Lol

    As kids we made Lemon and Kiwi sorbet........my god was it good......it makes you suck your cheeks in.....lol
