There's a band named "Why"? Are they the opening act for The Who, or The Guess Who?

  • Shirley Manson with Garbage. I just love her voice, and the songs run from haunting to whimsy (with a bit of sarcasm behind it, thinking #1 Crush to Stupid Girl).

Steely Dan does that for me atj. They were introduced to  me by my son as was Genesis and Steve Perry and even Christopher Cross...singing "Sailing". Then there is Kansas and "Dust in the Wind" which I never tire of hearing.  There were many bands and vocalists and songs that were memorable and meaningful.   Did you ever hear Sting sing "The Russians Love Their Children too"?  It was a  great time  in my life. My kid was a teenager and hadn't left the nest yet. Ah. Those were the days!
