According to Rush Limbaugh, The amount of political contributions made by the NRA is much, much less than contributions made by labor unions. So the gun toters are much less influential in the political arena.
How many labor union members are there bh? I'm gonna Google it. How many NRA members are there? I don't know if it matters at all in terms of what we're talking about but I think it would be interesting to know. I'll letcha know if I find out anything. Thank you for your reply! :) I'm back bh with some info. Per the NRA they say they have 5 million members. As of what date I don't know. As far as union members are as of 2017 there were 14.8 million of them. So that's what I found out. What I can do with those numbers I'm not really sure. I don't know if there is any direct correlation there because the NRA is a one-topic organization whereas there are many different kinds of unions with different interests. So for what it's worth maybe you can figure out what to do with it! :)
