    Perhaps a haberdasher would be considered a sock expert.  Others are more expert in being sock puppets.

    Of course.
    1. Make sure they match.
    2. Left sock on left foot, right sock on right foot.
    3. Change daily.
    4. Keep in separate drawer.
    5. Never sniff them while s/o is present.
