I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong. No face lost, integrity intact. :)

Me too. I'd feel guilty keeping mum about something that dumb. Saving face is for mental/emotional/spiritual/intellectual midgets. Not that I'm so smart or good but since truth is WAY important to me it goes without saying I wouldn't let anything lie untouched that was a lie or mistaken or misstated. Thank you for your reply ru and Happy American President's Day Monday to you!  :)

Sorry about the late response. I don't get in here a lot. I was always taught by my mom and dad to be honest and that if I messed up I own up too it. It was hard because I messed up a lot but it made life is a lot easier in the long run because I took responsibility for my own actions instead of blaming others. :)

No apologies needed m'dear. I appreciate your showing up when and if you can. We all have lives on the "outside" with obligations and responsibilities. I totally agree with thee. I always admit screwups immediately. Not that I'm such a great person but it just dogs me and I'm way better off admitting and apologizing ASAP if I need to and then taking whatever crap that comes with it. And then moving on. I don't lie. Not because I'm such a goody goody but because it would be humiliating to me if someone called me out in a LIE. I'd die. So I just say what I have to say and let the chips fall where they may. At least I don't have to look over my shoulder to see what or who is coming after me. That's how we learn m'dear. We mess up and then figure out it's not too smart and so hopefully at least we don't keeping messing up the same things in the same ways. We just mess up other things and learn from those as well. Thank you for your reply ru and Happy Wednesday to you! :)
