Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Michael Steele (an African Amerixan male) was elected Chairman of the RNC. Now we hear he was elected 'cuz of his color. True? RACE-based?
A REPUBLICAN said it m2c. And you ignore my point completely and bring something else in to deflect avoid ignore. Again. and Again. and Again. I would ask why but you probably can't help it. Thank you for your reply.
I don't know about the case but due to past horrible discrimination and the privilege of white males, that sort of thing likely does happen today. Just last week there was a petition to name a dorm after a person of color. Not just based on merit of something but also excluding white males. Regardless of the white males accomplishments, the petition sought to exclude him for being a white male. Right or wrong I don't know as I think I heard that the rest are named after white males? But color, white or lack of whiteness, seems to often play a part in popular votes and political correctness of the times.
