If time is money and I have plenty of time, then why don't I have plenty of money?

    Because you must have somewhat ascribed to that tenet, (because you are not dirt poor and you are somewhat comfortable) I'd say that you have paid attention to your time better than many of us have.   You used your time well enough to plan for the ability to at least not chew your fingernails down to stubs worrying about where to next lay your head.  You are somewhat secure.

    When I see that as a choice, I feel blessed.   And I have wasted far more time than you would have getting to where I am now.    Don't dismiss your abilities to organize, plan and focus on a goal.
