    Yes I have sat Nav in my vehicle and we're never that far from huge HyperMarkets here in England.....

    It will also take me to any organic specialist farm food shop that sell a verity of edible produces....

    Yes.... Expensive though.....I've been stung many times buying nettles and thistles.....:( D

    Young nettle shoots are edible. The haven't grown the stingers yet.

    You won't starve without food for a few days. I'd get unlost - go downhill and keep going until you find water. Follow that downstream - evetually you'll either find civilization or fish. Those I DO know about, could survive on that for a good long while.

    The smaller ones with red buttons look like Amanita muscara, but I think you already know that.

  • Maybe. I have one of those “Plants of New England “ guides so I like to think I know enough about wild plants to eat random stuff I find in the wild.
